Two years ago on this day, actor Stefán Karl Stefánsson died after his long fight with cancer. He brought joy to many people’s lives with his lively performances, bringing life to characters such as The Grinch and more famously, Robbie Rotten from LazyTown. I wasn’t a mega fan of LazyTown when I was young, but watched it whenever it popped up on Nickelodeon. Other than the creepy puppets and setting, Robbie Rotten stuck out most for his attitude and obsession with enormous cake slices (which I really wanted to try), and I couldn’t help but chuckle at this tall, gangly purple man scheming against the athletic Sportacus.
