    Kim Sae-ron (Korean: 김새론; July 31, 2000 – February 16, 2025) was a South Korean actress. Kim began her career in 2001 as a child model and transitioned to acting in 2009. Her acting career began with A Brand New Life (2009) and she became known through The Man From Nowhere (2010). The latter role earned her a Best New Actress – Film nomination at the 47th Baeksang Arts Awards.

    She later starred in television drama series Listen to My Heart (2011), The Queen's Classroom (2013), and Hi! School: Love On (2014), along with the film A Girl at My Door (2014). Her first adult lead role was in the television drama Secret Healer (2016).

    Kim was found dead at her home in Seoul, South Korea on February 16, 2025, at age 24. Her death was ruled a suicide.

    Kim Sae-ron was born in Seoul on July 31, 2000.[1] Kim had two younger sisters, Kim A-ron [ko] and Kim Ye-ron [ko], who are also actresses.[2][3] She attended Miyang Elementary School in Seoul,[2] and graduated from Yang-il Middle School in Ilsan in February 2016.
