T. Gayatri Reddy became well known to viewers of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in its first five seasons. But now that the Deccan Chargers team has been scrapped amid the financial troubles faced by parent Deccan Chronicle Holdings Ltd, run by father T. Venkattram Reddy, she isn’t likely to be all that visible when the next IPL season starts in April. She has a lower profile in the group as features editor of the group’s Deccan Chronicle newspaper.
